Kyle O’Quinn is a retired American professional basketball player known for his impactful college career and eight seasons in the NBA. He starred at Norfolk State University from 2008 to 2012, where he earned multiple accolades including MEAC Player of the Year, two-time MEAC Defensive Player of the Year, and the Lou Henson Award. His senior year was highlighted by leading Norfolk State to a memorable upset over No. 2 seed Missouri in the 2012 NCAA Tournament.

Drafted 49th overall by the Orlando Magic in 2012, O’Quinn played for the Magic (2012–2015), his hometown New York Knicks (2015–2018), Indiana Pacers (2018–2019), and Philadelphia 76ers (2019–2020). Throughout his NBA tenure, he was recognized for his hustle, passing ability, and defensive contributions. After his NBA career, he played internationally in Turkey, France, and China before announcing his retirement in April 2025.

He is now the Executive Director of Athletic Advancement at his alma mater, Norfolk State University.
