Get ready, TBT fans, because one of the tournament’s most exciting point guards is back! Jordon Crawford is set to make his highly anticipated return to The Basketball Tournament (TBT) as he suits up for Team Diesel/Smith League in the Louisville Region bracket.

Crawford, a TBT veteran with a flair for the dramatic, has consistently been a fan favorite in past tournaments, most notably dazzling crowds with The Money Team. Now, he’s bringing his incredible court vision, clutch scoring, and tenacious defense to Team Diesel/Smith League, who enter the Louisville regional as a formidable #2 seed.

The journey for Team Diesel/Smith League kicks off on Saturday, July 19, at 5:00 PM EST, as they face off against the #7 seed LA Ignite. All eyes will be on Crawford as he leads his squad onto the historic court of Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky. If Team Diesel/Smith League can secure a victory, they’ll advance to take on the winner of the #3 Florida DRC vs. #6 Team 901 matchup, with that second-round game scheduled for Sunday, July 20, at 9:00 PM EST.

Freedom Hall, steeped in basketball history, provides the perfect backdrop for what promises to be an intense and unpredictable regional. Jordon Crawford’s 2024-25 NBL Highlights

Jordon had a strong 2024-25 season with the NBL’s Tasmania JackJumpers. He was a key player for the team, leading them in points per game (16) and assists per game (4.4) across 28 appearances. His consistent high-level performances were recognized as he was named the Tasmania JackJumpers’ Most Valuable Player for the season.

Crawford demonstrated his scoring ability throughout the season, with notable performances including a 26-point game against the New Zealand Breakers where he came off the bench and ignited his team.
